| Flood at Sindhupalchom |
The monsoon has started in Nepal. There is a high probability of floods and landslides in Hilly and Mountain regions. The flood in Bhotekoshi River of Sindhupalchok has washed out over fifteen houses. Several people were reported missing while two bodies were identified.
The floods had washed away the houses in Barhabise Municipality of Sindhupalchok district. Jambu Bazaar of Barhabise Municipality was completely sunk by the flood. Sushma Pokhrel, deputy mayor of Sindhupalchok told that the village was flooded last night due to heavy rain.

According to Sushma Pokhrel, 18 people were missing. The floods had also swept away the bridge of the Bhotekoshi river. She informed that the bodies of 20-year-old Nikesh Basnet and his three-years-old daughter have been identified up to date.
Sotagama village was also impacted by the flood. The Bhotekoshi Hydropower Project store was also washed away. Inspector, Narendra Neupane said that, The bridge in front of my police office and the Araniko highway has also been flooded.
