One girl died by lightning strike in Darchula Municipality-6. According to the District Police Office, seven-year-old Laxmi Khati died on the night of a lightning strike and her four family members were injured. The list of injured were

The Superintendent of Police, Dipendra Shahi said that, the girl died on the spot. The others were being treated at the district hospital Darchula and the condition was normal. Police said that, lightning damaged the house completely. The lightning struck at around 9 pm on Tuesday night, said, Dipendra Shahi.
This is the season of lightening so he (Shahi) requested everyone to stay safe. He requested everyone to stay home at the time of thunder storm. He added, using mobile phones, laptops and other electronic devices are very dangerous at this time.
